Dana Jeri Maeir at the Goodwin House Bailey's Crossroads

Dana has an exhibit and is giving a talk about her career to residents.

She started talking about being an illustrator who then started using word balloons and drifted into cartoons about the art world. She debuted her book Worried Well at SPX and then Skipping to the Fun Part.

Emily Flake got her to pitch to the New Yorker. shown with Lianna Finck.

She was by accepted by the New Yorker online. 

This was her breakthrough that led to an agent and her book Skip to the Fun Parts. 

Now she's drawing turtles, cats, and buildings.
