Teenage twins Zara and Zeeshan constantly bicker, belittling each other's interests and each other.  But on a family vacation to Florida, they discover that although one is an animal rights activist and the other an amateur astronomer, they share the same fears and feelings of isolation.  While saving the life of a loggerhead turtle, the siblings come to realize that their twin is one person who will always have their backs.  As always, beloved author Saadia Faruqi captures the emotions of growing up Muslim and the exclusion many children face in this beautifully illustrated graphic novel.

Saadia Faruqi is a Pakistani American author and interfaith activist. She writes the popular children's early reader series "Yasmin" and other books for children, including chapter books, graphic novels, and picture books.  Saadia is editor-in-chief of Blue Minaret, a magazine for Muslim art, poetry and prose, and was featured in Oprah Magazine in 2017 as a woman making a difference in her community. She lives in Houston, TX with her husband and children.

Ages 8-12
