Announcing Small Press Expo Advanced Ticket Sales and Hotel Rooms

Hi!! Here is the much awaited information about attending SPX 2023: Dates and Times Saturday September 9 from 11AM-7PM. Sunday September 10 from Noon-6PM. Advanced Ticket Sales Can be found at our Eventbrite portal. Tickets are $20 for Saturday, $15 for Sun and $30 both days. Festival Venue The Bethesda North Marriott Hotel & Conference Center. Rooms at the SPX room block are $135 NOT including taxes. Rooms can be reserved here. The room block may fill up quickly, at which point we will look to see if we can add rooms to it. Stay tuned for announcements about Special Guests over the next week. In August, we will be sending out information about Programming, Workshops, Debuts, City Wide Events and the much anticipated Ignatz Awards Nominees. SPX is a registered 501(c)3 nonprofit that brings together more than 500 artists and publishers to meet their readers, booksellers, and distributors each year. Graphic novels, mini comics, and alternative comics will all be on display and for sale by their authors and illustrators. The expo includes a series of panel discussions and interviews with this year's guests. The Ignatz Award is a festival prize held every year at SPX recognizing outstanding achievement in comics and cartooning, with the winners chosen by attendees at the show.
