Swann Foundation Fellowship for Caricature and Cartoon deadline is February 14, 2023

The deadline for Swann Fellowship applications is February 14, 2023. Please see the following for criteria, guidelines, and application forms:

http://www.loc.gov/rr/print/swann/swann-fellow.html.

This fellowship for the 2023-2024 academic year is administered by the Library of Congress and one of the few for graduate students doing scholarly work in caricature and cartoon – in any field. Graduate students (and recent post-docs) enrolled in a program in North America (Canada, Mexico, and the United States) are eligible. If you are not a U.S. citizen or a legal resident of the United States, then you must have a valid visa that permits accepting monetary fellowships to be eligible. As a government institution, the Library cannot make exceptions.

Please email swann@loc.gov if you have questions.

The Library of Congress appreciates the opportunity to post this notice! Feel free to forward this to graduate students and recent post-docs who may not be on this list.
