Jonathan Roth, local cartoonist and a judge of this year's Golden Kite award reports that Angela Hsieh's Lu and Ren's Guide to Geozoology was the honor winner this year. This is from The Society of Children's Book Writers and Illustrators. The video is online. Jonathan tells me that the category was 'Illustrated Books for Older Readers' and four out of 5 nominees were graphic novels.
