I did a full backup of the website last night to get all my comics off before I delete everything and start over from scratch. And I now realize how big of a project this is going to be! But also, I really enjoyed writing and drawing this thing.
When the site is rebuilt, I think I might just reupload comics one at a time instead of trying to hork it all up at once. One, I think it will be insane to try to relink everything all at once, but two, I can write alt text for all the comics as I go. I think the text posts that accompany each comic are toast. When I switched over to comic control, my original text posts were culled anyway so I'm not too broken up about that.
I think I might also separate any filler comics into their own section to keep the flow of the narrative going.
