I guess this isn't really a surprise as Peter has been an absentee owner for years, and the store was bought into the chain in the first place. But I'm still somewhat shocked by this first reduction in the BP chain in over a decade (since the Georgetown store relocated to U St), while glad the store isn't just closing completely. Third Eye Faithful, we'll be opening Third Eye College Park on 7/2/22, as our good pals at Big Planet of College Park passes the torch to us to keep great comics going in College Park this Summer!

We are flattered & honored to be working with Peter, Jared & the entire crew at Big Planet Comics of College Park to pick up where they'll be leaving off, and cannot wait to see you all! Big Planet Comics of College Park will be OPEN for normal biz right up until Wednesday 6/29/22 & then Third Eye College Park will be opening on Saturday 7/2/22 just minutes up the road in the College Park Marketplace Shopping Center (home to Best Buy & Shoppers Food Warehouse)!
For all existing Big Planet customers, we're working closely with Peter and team to ensure there's no lapse in service, and will be able to keep your pull boxes & everything else continuing smoothly once the current location closes. We are super excited to meet all of you this Summer & are so honored to be able to continue the awesome tradition of a great comic shop in College Park!
