A film adaptation of the children's fantasy novel Chikashitsu kara no Fushigi na Tabi (Strange Journey from the Basement) directed by HARA Keiichi of Summer Days with CooColorful, and Miss Hokusai

Featuring stunning character designs from the famed Russian illustrator Ilya Kuvshinov who is currently working on projects like the upcoming Ghost in the Shell: SAC_2045.

Akane is a shy, young girl. On the day before her birthday the enigmatic and fabled alchemist Hippocrates suddenly emerges along with his apprentice Pipo from the magical basement of an antique store. He reveals that this world is in danger, and as the "Green Goddess" it is Akane's destiny and duty to save them all. The only problem? She just wants to go home!

This event is free and open to the public, but registration is required.

Program begins at 6:30PM.
Doors open 30 minutes before the program. No admittance after 7:00PM or once seating is full.

Registered guests will be seated on a first come, first served basis. Please note that seating is limited and registration does not guarantee a seat.
