No 'Cathy' retirement bump for 'Cul de Sac'?

I've been reading a lot of articles about papers replacing Cathy, and what they're choosing and haven't seen anyone add Cul de Sac yet. Does anyone know of a paper that's added it?

Stone Soup seems to have picked up a few. Rhymes with Orange, Red and Rover, Tundra, Arlo and Janis, nothing, and the new Dogs of C-Kennel are some replacements I've seen.

Scranton PA and a few others. They'll drop it after a hail of complaints from dissatisfied readers.

Well, you're not trying hard enough. You should probably drive to every paper that had Cathy and present the editor with a box of chocolates and a hand-drawn caricature of his/her mistress.

Would you give me a ride?

Only if I get a box of chocolates too.

You'd think that Cul de Sac would be a natural replacement since it has so much in common with Cathy.

I think chocolates sends the wrong message - that whole "you never know what you're gonna get" thing. Or perhaps that's what you're going for?

I still think peeps are the media of choice for the discerning presenter. By the way, it is SO on for next spring...
