An embarrassingly positive Pekar review...

...sure Mike Everleth's in the book, but you can trust his opinion. He's only got five pages and the book's more than 200!

But seriously, you should be proud. It is a great book. I just finished the first of the SPX panels you hosted, which sounded like a lot of fun.

Well, that's very kind of you, Mike. Thank you very much. It's embarrassing because *I* posted a link to it here, thus tooting my own horn.

But the book really is about Harvey as you pointed out and how he changed over his career. I'm writing an encyclopedia entry on American Splendor now, and trying to make that clear.

The SPX panels were great. I really enjoyed them. This year I'll be interviewing Richard Thompson at SPX on Sunday which should be great as well.
