I think it's pretentious of Dagwood to use that final "pe".
Plus, doing the math, it works out to 169 Dagwood's Sandwich Shoppes in the DC area, which means there'll be at least one, or maybe twelve, in my neighborhood. I hope they're good.
Why isn't there a Garfield's Lasagna Shoppe?
