Join us for a night of celebration with Bulgilhan press, Lucky Pocket Press, Radiator Comics, and more. Live reading of comics! Cake! Snacks! Drinks! Polaroid decorating! We've got four books *launching* at our party—check it:
1. Knapsack Magazine #1: Cassette - an anthology love letter to weird kid nostalgia, emulating the style of '90s/'00s Shojo Beat and Shonen Jump. Featuring a ton of great artists including fantom friends @sunmi_comics & @aquiboni
2. A Night to the Day by @breeze_hu_art - A tired salesman and a grieving girl meet by chance in a desert, each of them lost and alone in their waking dreams.
3. UM vol. 1 by @btrcp - A magical girl comic about Eugenée, a Black, nonbinary, aspiring birth-worker who finds themselves mixed up in a millennia-old conflict between the powers that be and a faction of cosmic, shamanic midwives.
4. The King's Warrior by @deatoozhu - A mighty warrior in the service of a great King is charged with vanquishing the kingdom's final threat, a powerful and evil alchemist. Promised that she will finally be freed alongside her brother once the deed is done, her blade will not stop and the blood of beasts will run.
