Small Press Expo Sponsors Events with Artisphere, Library of Congress, Politics & Prose and Atomic Books

Hey Everyone!!

For those of you who see SPX as just a mere weekend festival..

Ha!!

Again, we say HA!!!

There is a bunch of amazingly cool stuff going on both the week before and the week after SPX's Grand Event on September 14-15, such as The Beat's Heidi MacDonald giving a lecture at the prestigious Library of Congress, Los Bros Hernandez and Lynda Barry at the National Book Festival held on The Mall and all the cool comic stuff Artisphere has on tap.

This is in addition to the Jeff Smith signing
that our fav DC independent bookstore Politics & Prose is going to do, as well as the annual SPXplosion held by our fav Baltimore independent book store, Atomic Books.

Note that you can win a free one-day SPX admission if you create your own comic and submit it at the four Artisphere events prior to SPX.

It's a great list of cool things to do, if you ask us.

Be there, everywhere!!!!

See Ya,

Warren and Mike

P.S. Oh yeah, further info on SPX and stuff can always be found at  http://www.spxpo.com.
