Savage Love - Ullman in color

This week's City Paper has Rob Ullman's first illustration in color for the Savage Love column. I'm not sure how I feel about it yet - I've got about a dozen of his b&w originals. Still, it's probably colored on the computer, so I can still buy the line art.

I think Rob previously illustrated Savage Love in other papers, such as Richmond. I'm glad to hear that it's coming to DC now -- how can we import them to Boston??

No, I think DC is the only place he does it for. He's been doing it for years now. For those who don't live in DC, he does sell a lot of the drawings compiled as minicomics.

For some reason, I'm still partial to his black-and-white illustrations. He's got such a crisp line that it bounces off the page. It seems kinda lost in color.
