Fluggenock's Latest'n'Greatest: "Happy Goddamn New Year"

From DC's anarchist cartoonist -

"Happy Goddamn New Year"
http://sinkers.org/stage/?p=3759

(New York Times, Page A1, 12.29.2023: "Israel Admitting Fault In 2
Strikes Hitting Civilians; Regret From Military; Sees 'Unintended
Harm' Where Locals Said Dozens Died")

"REGRET From Military", it says here.
That's right — REGRET for "unintended harm".

Oh, for Christ's sake, why do these goddamn thugs even bother? Who do
they think they're kidding? Do they think that after nearly 3 months
of genocidal brutality, fascistic bullying, threats and media lies,
Genocide Joe's little buddy actually expects us to believe that they
REGRET this goddamn horror show?

The threat of the Bad Old Rethuglicans taking over stopped scaring me
nearly 30 years ago, and right now it scares me even less, if such a
thing is possible. Four more years of Trump? Big goddamn deal; we've
ALREADY been through 4 more years of Trump, so I could give the
slightest molecule of a rat's ass who "wins" your goddamn "election"
next year. For all I care, the Democrats can get their asses shredded
so goddamn bad that they have to be identified via dental records. At
this point, I don't care so much about defeating Trump as I do about
defeating America.

Happy goddamn New Year.

A crazy ride through 2023 on the Cartoon Carousel at Politico

A crazy ride through 2023 on the Cartoon Carousel

[Matt Wuerker (ed)]

2023, it was one crazy year. A Chinese spy balloon flies across the country ... pretty crazy. Kevin McCarthy dousing his speakership with gasoline and handing the Gaetz Gang the matches … certifiably crazy. Canadian wildfires blacking out the sky in New York and Washington ... climatically crazy. Donald Trump getting indicted on 91 counts and using it to increase his standing in the polls (and raise yet more millions of dollars) … confoundingly crazy. Hamas attacking Israel and the devastating war that's followed … horrifyingly crazy. Elon Musk's unhinged trolling on X… kookily crazy. ChatGPT giving us a glimpse of AI taking over the world … unsettling crazy, and that's just the half of it. Over the past 12 months, cartoonists captured all the crazy in our weekly Cartoon Carousel. We picked out some of the best, mindful to include viewpoints from across the political spectrum. Some will make you laugh, some will make you groan … and some will make you ... crazy! 2023 has been that kind of year.
