Hidden Treasure of the National Library of Medicine FREE online

Hidden Treasure of the National Library of Medicine is now FREE online.  "Why tell me?" you ask - because I have a piece on World War II US Navy medical animation at page 89 of the pdf file, and Malaria Mack cartoon calendars are featured right before that. Also Huber the Tuber cartoon books are spotlighted.  And it's free. My friends at the Library and Blast Books did a lovely job on this book, and I recommend it highly.

I got a copy of this at DC Brau this weekend. It's got a nice article about cartoonist Jim Mahfood, although it's not focused on Washington artists.
