Jonathan Roth has 2 new books out, both dealing with space. Rover and Speck #3: It's a Gas! is about exploring a gas giant and finding life. His picture book, Almost Underwear: How a Piece of Cloth Traveled from Kitty Hawk to the Moon and Mars is shown in a number of these photos, and is really very interesting even to an adult.

Jonathan will be teaching a Create Your Own Graphic Novel workshop for kids in honor of the release of Rover and Speck: It’s a Gas! This is the third installment in Jonathan Roth’s popular graphic novel series about an endearingly mismatched pair of space-traveling rover friends: organized and careful Rover, and impulsive, excitable Speck.
When Jonathan was talking about designing a graphic novel to the children, he asked me what was the most number of panels ever used on a page. This blog post is the start of that research.
