Flashbacks, a DC comic strip we've overlooked

Every Sunday, for years, Patrick M. Reynolds has been producing Flashbacks, a comic strip for the Washington Post. His Flashbacks recalls aspects of DC history. Reynolds doesn't actually live around here, and does similar strips for New York City, Texas and Pennsylvania, but it should have been noted here earlier.

He's collected some of the early strips into two books.

Thank you Mr. Reynolds for creating a strip about the Washington Saengerbund founded in 1851 in Washington DC. Then the singing group was all men, but they did the first flash sing, at Abraham Lincoln's lying in state and the Washington Saengerbund started singing Schubert's Gesang der Geister ueber den Wasser (Goethe.)

Have you done anystrips about John Sutter of California and Gold Rush fame who is buried in Lititz PA (Lancaster county)?
