About Mo Willems

Mo Willems is a Caldecott Award-winning and New York Times bestselling children's book author and illustrator, including Don't Let the Pigeon Drive the Bus!, Knuffle Bunny: A Cautionary Tale, and the Elephant and Piggie early reader series, including There Is a Bird on Your Head!. He has been twice awarded the Theodor Seuss Geisel Medal.

About the Book

When a devilishly dapper fox invites an innocent and delectable goose to dinner, disaster is in the offing. In fact, little yellow chicks warn the reader throughout that That is NOT a Good Idea! But not for the reason one might expect.

Tickets

Purchase of That is NOT a Good Idea! ($17.99) is required for entry. Additionally, each family (up to 4 people), must purchase an individual ticket for $3.50. Families of five or more will be required to purchase an additional copy of the book.

Event Guidelines

  • Seating will be first come, first served. Attendees will be called by rows to have their books signed.
  • Mo Willems will speak and take questions for 30 minutes. The signing will immediately follow.
  • Mo will personalize That is Not a Good Idea! but please, no special inscriptions.
  • Mo will sign (NOT personalize) an unlimited number of other titles newly purchased from Politics & Prose. Please keep your receipt with these books.
  • Mo will sign ONE beloved book from home.
  • Mo will NOT sign posters, memorabilia, board books, or stuffed animals, since children may put these in their mouths.
  • Mo will stay until all attendees' books are signed.
  • Photos permitted without flash. (Mo's eyes are light sensitive.)
