Flugennock's Latest'n'Greatest: "No Comment"

From DC's anarchist cartoonist -

So, to recap: Apparently due to power utility malfeasance, wildfires
break out on the island of Maui, State of Hawaii. Many Hawaiians die
and are still dying, from all reports. Catching up with President
Gropey Joe in Drunken College Dipshit Central — aka Rehoboth, Delaware
— reporters asked El Presidente about the Maui situation, to which he
replied "no comment" and clambered on into his Presidential Escalade.

It may be unlikely to guess the final death toll in Maui, but it'll be
easy enough to guess the total death count from the $200m in refills
for their fancy truck-mounted rocket launchers to keep up their
ongoing, Ukrainian meat-grinding "Duck Soup" Offensive.

That darn Ellis Rosen

Ellis Rosen's Aug. 7 editorial cartoon. (Ellis Rosen)

It's open to interpretation [Ellis Rosen letter]

William E. Fallon, Gaithersburg

Washington Post August 19 2023: A17

online at https://www.washingtonpost.com/opinions/2023/08/18/girl-scouts-embrace-girlhood/

Regarding Ellis Rosen's Aug. 7 editorial cartoon depicting two military personnel in an art museum:

The uniform worn by the senior man takes diversity to a new level. He is wearing what appears to be a lieutenant general's three-star shoulder boards, a Navy ensign's single stripe on his right sleeve, a Navy lieutenant's double stripe on his left sleeve and a corporal's insignia on his right arm. The depicted enlisted man's uniform is devoid of any rank insignia whatsoever. Obviously, some manner of covert special ops. However, he is saluting British-style, suggesting a joint U.S.-British operation.

I don't get, it either.
