MY love STORY!!
Thursday, February 13th at 6:30 PM
Live adaptation of the unique girls' manga and anime that follows the slapstick romantic antics of a pure-hearted and sincere guy with the looks of a meathead.

The film recreates the humorous appearance of the characters in the original story,
with lead actor Suzuki Ryohei putting on 30 kg especially for the role.
J-Film: MY love STORY!! J-Film: MY love STORY!!
First-year high school student Goda Takeo is a gentle-hearted guy, though you'd never guess it by his fierce face and lumberjack physique. He's clumsy but warmhearted, and gets along great with other guys but most girls generally find him repulsive. As a result, he's been pretty unlucky in love his entire life. (Unlike his ridiculously handsome childhood friend Sunakawa Makoto.)

One day, he rescues the beautiful Yamato Mei from the unwanted advances of another guy and for him it's love at first sight. But how does Yamato feel about it?

Starring SUZUKI Ryohei, NAGANO Mei, SAKAGUCHI Kentaro

Josh Kramer covers bicycling for the City Paper

Quoting from their newsletter today:

Comic by Josh Kramer and design by Julia Trebrock.

This year might mark a watershed moment for bike safety.

It's not guaranteed, but completed targets out of the District Department of Transportation give reason to hope: 89 miles of painted lanes and 11.5 miles of protected routes.

"These numbers tell a story, but I think that this moment in biking would be best suited to my preferred medium—comics," writes City Paper's Josh Kramer for today's cover story, available in print and online. "Biking in D.C. has created a lot of anger and fear, but also joy. I want to draw that. In words and pictures, I'll show you the bike lanes, the bollards, and the pneumatic road tubes, but I'll also bring you to the places where D.C. residents have died. So come along with me and let's see where this cycle track leads us."

This cover story is something special. Give it a look.

Flugennock's Latest'n'Greatest: "There's An App For That"

From Mike Flugennock, DC's anarchist cartoonist:

"There's An App For That"
http://sinkers.org/stage/?p=2921

Well, that sure was some skanky-ass to-do we had out in Iowa this week. Sanders was looking really good to take it, but then they suddenly "delayed" the results because of an issue with a skanky vote-reporting app — a skanky app coded by a skanky company operated by old Hillary campaign stooges and which has also worked for the Buttigieg campaign.

I'm so not into the tinfoil hat thing, but when the DNC announces their new "troll hunting" campaign against "disinformation" on the Internet, and then their vote-tracking app built by a bunch of Hillary hacks implodes as Mayo Pete declares himself the winner — kinda like that Guaido guy — you just can't help thinking something is really, really stanky around here.

You couldn't expect less from an outfit called Shadow, Inc. Look out, Nevada.
