They didn't run my letter which read as follows:

I would like the editorial page staff to explain how they define an editorial or
political cartoon. Lately we've seen the work of Ellis Rosen, who is definitely a gag cartoonist with no opinion expressed in his cartoons. Edith Pritchett's long-form pieces aren't editorial cartoons (except for her first appearance in April), but would fit perfectly well in with the Perspective cartoons that run online on the Post. So how is the editorial staff deciding what to buy and run? Honestly, I'd rather see Ann Telnaes appear in print as well as on the web.
