Join us at the National Building Museum for a special screening of Weathering with You, a beautifully animated film from acclaimed director SHINKAI Makoto. The story focuses on high school student MORISHIMA Hodaka, who, after running away from home is struggling to get his footing in Shinjuku, Tokyo. Spreading out from Japan's busiest train station, Shinjuku is famous for its architectural, cultural and business footprint. One day, Hodaka meets a young girl in the district, AMANO Hina, who possesses a remarkable talent: the power to stop the torrential rain and clear the sky. They begin to work together, and what happens next is an adventure that you won't soon forget! Make sure to come to the beautiful National Building Museum for a screening and special talk by Dr. Jordan Sand! |
