As former deputy coordinator for counterterrorism at the State Department, I take my hat off to Michael Ramirez and his June 3 editorial cartoon. I do not remember having seen a political cartoon that propagates the lie that migrants cause terrorism in such an ugly and vicious fashion as "A dangerous cocktail."

Sigh, another slap at English majors. In the June 3 "Dustin" comic strip, Dustin's employment adviser tells him that his degree in English literature is "pretty useless." Anyone who regularly reads the strip knows that Dustin's inability to find employment is because of his laziness and lack of ambition, not his degree.
