Live at SPX, aka The Small Press Expo, held September 17-18 in Bethesda, Md., Heidi interviews Jeff Trexler, interim director of the Comic Book Legal Defense Fund, about the recent court decision ("a resounding victory") in support of Maia Kobabe's graphic memoir and guide to gender identity 'Gender Queer'; in addition, Heidi also talks with Kobabe about eir (Kobabe is nonbinary and asexual and uses Spivak pronouns) early comics work and love of fantasy novels.
