Hello Third Eye Faithful!

We've got a very cool signing happening at Third Eye Annapolis tomorrow, featuring the creators of one of the biggest sleeper hits this Summer: DREAM THIEF from DARK HORSE COMICS.

We originally read an advance copy of this one a few months ago, and totally fell in love with the world that writer Jai Nitz and artist Greg Smallwood had built.

It was a sublime mix of the kinda modern day crime noir we love, and the otherworldly supernatural elements that we've come to love in series like LOCKE & KEY and FATALE.

What's DREAM THIEF all about? After stealing an Aborginal mask from a museum, John Lincoln realizes that the spirits of the vengeful dead are possessing his body and mind while he sleeps.

His old problems have been replaced by bloody hands and the disposal of bodies -- and now, remembering where he spent last night has never been more important.

A gritty, fast-paced drama with a supernatural element; DREAM THIEF reads like a mix of 100 BULLETS, SE7EN and NIGHTMARE ON ELM STREET, and we love every second of it.

Make sure to pop in, snag a copy of issue #1, and get it signed by both writer JAI NITZ and artist GREG SMALLWOOD tomorrow at Third Eye!

Jai and Greg are flying in all the way from Kansas City for this launch event, because they've heard the word: Third Eye has the best damn gathering of comic book lovers around as customers, and they are STOKED to meet you guys and show you the comic.

I know that Jai has said he's got some additional freebies he's bringing to give out to anyone who purchases a copy of Dream Thief, or already picked up one earlier in the week. Something about totally rad DREAM THIEF papercraft toys, and other goodies!
