The It's a Small World Department
My correspondence buddy Wim Lockefeer (we trade comics ephemera and stamps) has put up his best of the year list and on it is Chris Grine's Chickenhare: Fire in the Hole. Our Man Thompson sat next to Chris at HeroesCon this year so we talked to him quite a bit. I wholeheartedly agree with Wim's endorsement - I bought both of his books for my daughter.

Keith Knight on Post chat last week
Keith Knight did a Washington Post chat last Friday. I missed this as I was deep in the Charlotte Convention Center when it happened, but Ephemerist blogger Wim Lockefeer let me know about it. Check out Wim's blog too - he finds really cool stuff, and he's in Belgium so a lot of it is new to me.

And a UK mention of this blog
European collector Wim Lockefeer, who does the excellent Ephemerist blog devoted to passing bits of cartoon art (to which I'll infrequently send a piece) mentioned ComicsDC today on his Forbidden Planet blog. Thanks, Wim!
