SIGNING FROM 11AM to 2PM
Hello again, Third Eye Faithful!

This Saturday, we're continuing our NOVEMBER TO REMEMBER event schedule with a signing that we know many of you have been on the edge of your seats waiting for!

CULLEN BUNN, writer of the recently concluded hit MARVEL series DEADPOOL KILLS THE MARVEL UNIVERSE, will be in-store from 11AM-2PM signing copies of DEADPOOL KILLS, as well as his many other works, like THE SIXTH GUN (a fantastic creator-owned steampunk Weird West series), VENOM, and WOLVERINE.

We've been big fans of Cullen's for quite some time now, so we're totally stoked to have him flying all the way out from St. Louis to help us kick off the release of the DEADPOOL KILLS THE MARVEL UNIVERSE Graphic Novel.

Make sure to line up early, because we're going to be giving away some VERY cool limited items to the first 25 folks who're lined up for this signing!

Grab the DEADPOOL KILLS THE MARVEL UNIVERSE graphic novel tomorrow & have it signed by writer CULLEN BUNN!

Third Eye Faithful, I gotta tell you, as children of the '80s and '90s, we've got a bit of a fan bias towards Deadpool. What can we say? We love the Merc with a Mouth. And, with the upcoming DEADPOOL video game raising his profile, we're totally pumped to see the Merc with a Mouth getting his time to shine.

Available now, we have the entire DEADPOOL KILLS THE MARVEL UNIVERSE limited series in graphic novel, for just $14.99, and folks, I gotta tell you: this is the most fun I've had reading DEADPOOL in a long time.

What's it all about? A back-to-basics approach, that takes Deadpool back to his darkly humorous roots, DEADPOOL KILLS poses the question: what happens when all those crazy voices in Deadpool's head just.. shut up, and all that's left is the one sinister voice telling him his world's a sham and everyone must die?

The answer is that Deadpool kills the Marvel Universe. Literally.

And, folks, it's the perfect blend of dark humor and ultra-violence that makes us love a good DEADPOOL comic.

Instead of spoiling the whole plot, we're going to just leave this here with you as a sample of how awesome DEADPOOL KILLS is..

We'll have plenty of copies of both the trade paperback, as well as the single issues on hand for those of you who've yet to get into the series.

For those of you who already picked it up, bring your copies by and get them signed by Cullen, totally free! Although, we'd recommend giving a look at Cullen's incredible creator-owned series THE SIXTH GUN, which we talk about a little more below.

Want more information on the event? Click here for the full scoop on Facebook.

Be One Of The First 25 In Line & Receive a Very Special FREE Gift!

If there's one thing Third Eye is known for worldwide it's the awesomeness of YOU guys! We love how excited you guys are for the events, and your enthusiasm is what keeps us bringing these guys in!

As a bonus for getting here, and lining up early, we're going to be giving the first 25 of you guys who're lined up for the DEADPOOL KILLS signing a very special, surprise free gift that's limited to this event. Cullen has helped us put together something totally cool to give out for this signing, and we can't wait to see the looks on your faces! :) This is a great giveaway!

CHECK OUT: Cullen Bunn's THE SIXTH GUN for a STEAMPUNK WEIRD WEST MASTERPIECE!

In addition to writing a stellar DEADPOOL with DEADPOOL KILLS THE MARVEL UNIVERSE, Cullen Bunn has been a long-time favorite of our's with his steampunk Weird West masterpiece THE SIXTH GUN.

This series has been a cult favorite of many for a long time, and, folks, we though this would be a great opportunity to spotlight it for you guys.

We'll have all of the trade paperbacks in stock tomorrow for the signing, including plenty of volume 1, and if you're a fan of things like HELLBOY, BPRD, or the steampunky stuff like LADY MECHANIKA, CAPTAIN SWING, and GIRL GENIUS, then we highly recommend giving SIXTH GUN a shot.

What's it all about? During the darkest days of the Civil War, wicked cutthroats came into possession of six pistols of otherworldly power. In time, the Sixth Gun, the most dangerous of the weapons, vanished. When the gun surfaces in the hands of an innocent girl, dark forces reawaken. Vile men thought long dead set their sights on retrieving the gun and killing the girl.

Only Drake Sinclair, a gunfighter with a shadowy past, stands in their way.

Combing weird technology, dark magicks, the undead, and a good ol' dose of hardboiled Western storytelling, THE SIXTH GUN is a must-read tale of supernatural terror, and reckless gunslinging awesomeness.

Cullen's storytelling is on point, and the artwork, courtesy of Brian Hurtt is incredible.

Other Great Projects by Cullen Bunn -- VENOM, SUPERMAN/BATMAN: SORCERER KINGS, and more.

In addition to DEADPOOL KILLS and SIXTH GUN, Cullen's done a lot of other great stuff, including the current run of VENOM (Minimum Carnage, and prior to that, THE SAVAGE SIX arc), which has been off-the-chain.

We'll have plenty of copies of all of Cullen's other work, including his run of VENOM, and his killer stand-alone SORCERER KINGS arc of SUPERMAN / BATMAN, which was a great little Elseworlds story pre-NEW 52.

What is Third Eye's NOVEMBER TO REMEMBER?
So, many of you guys may already know that we're hosting a HUGE year-ender signing with comedian and actor BRIAN POSEHN, who also just so happens to be the writer of the brand new DEADPOOL series for MARVEL NOW.

Due to the fact that this is a rare East Coast appearance for Brian, and the ONLY East Coast signing appearance he's making for DEADPOOL, we know that this is going to be a whopper.

Fear not though, Third Eye Faithful, 'cause we want to make sure you guys all get plenty of time to meet Brian, and get all your stuff signed!

Much like we did last year with our 6 WEEK HEART ATTACK leading up to our signing with G4TV's BLAIR BUTLER, we're going to be running a special promotion that allows you to earn a one-hour early admission VIP pass to get in early for our signing with Brian.

You're probably asking right now: OK, so how do I do that?

Starting this Saturday with our first signing with Grace Randolph & Jerry and Penelope Gaylord, we'll be giving out NOVEMBER TO REMEMBER cards which we'll be stamping the backs of for each of the 6 signings we have booked in November.

If you attend all 6, which would fill your card, then you can redeem it at the last signing on 12/8 for a special VIP Early Admission Pass which will get you in one hour early for our signing with Brian Posehn on 12/22.

What's our schedule look like for NOVEMBER TO REMEMBER? You can either read on below, or click here to read more.

WEEK 1: 11/3 -- SUPURBIA Release Party
WEEK 4: 11/24 -- SMALL BUSINESS SATURDAY feat. a Special Mystery Guest (details coming soon!) and a continuation of the awesome deals at our soon-to-be-announced BLACK FRIDAY 24 Hours of Awesomeness Sale!

Okay, Third Eye Faithful, lets make tomorrow an awesome event for Cullen, and a ton of fun for you guys!

UPCOMING - November 10 NEW DATE - Ben Hatke signing

PLEASE NOTE: This signing has been changed to a new date of Saturday, November 10! Sorry for any inconvenience!

Ben Hatke, creator of the all-ages bestseller science fiction adventure Zita the Spacegirl, will be appearing at both our Vienna and College Park stores on Saturday, November 10, for his new sequel Legends of Zita the Spacegirl!

Zita is determined to find her way home to earth, following the events of the first book. But things are never simple, and certainly never easy, in space. Zita's exploits from her first adventure have made her an intergalactic megastar! But she's about to find out that fame doesn't come without a price. And who can you trust when your true self is being eclipsed by your public persona, and you've got a robot doppelganger wreaking havoc . . . while wearing your face? Still, if anyone can find their way through this intractible mess of mistaken identity and alien invaders, it's the indomitable Zita, in Legends of Zita the Spacegirl.

What:                   AnimeUSA Convention Auction

When:                  Sunday, Nov. 11, 2012, 1 p.m.

AnimeUSA began in 1999 as a northern Virginia convention started by Anime fans.  By 2004, it had grown into a non-profit educational organization with the mission to promote and educate the public about Japanese arts and popular culture.  True to its beginnings, the organization remains a convention of fans, by fans, and for fans, however it expands its community outreach by selecting a nonprofit organization to benefit from the annual auction held at their conventions.

"We're very pleased to be selected as the organization benefitting from the AnimeUSA auction this year, particularly as this is the first year that AnimeUSA comes to Washington DC," said Louise Kennelly, Executive Director of the DC Arts and Humanities Education Collaborative.

AnimeUSA wanted to contribute to a local DC charity, specifically one that benefits children through a focus on arts and education.   "We share with the DC Collaborative an appreciation of the importance of imagination and creativity. The DC Collaborative mission to ensure access to arts and humanities for all DC public school students captures the spirit of our convention," said said Danielle Pomfrey, Charity Auction Coordinator for AnimeUSA.

The AnimeUSA convention takes place at the Washington Marriott Wardman Park on the weekend of November 9th-11th.  The auction will be hosted on the Sunday afternoon of the convention.  In previous years, auction proceed recipients have included the Taylor Anderson Memorial Foundation, Child's Play, and the Suicide Prevention Hotline.

Working with its partners, since its founding in 1998, the DC Collaborative produces such exemplary programs as Arts for Every Student, sending about 30,000 students each year to member events.

About AnimeUSA                                                                                                                                                    AnimeUSA is a non-profit educational organization dedicating to raising awareness and educating the public about Japanese arts and popular culture.  AnimeUSA is a convention of fans, by fans, and for fans.
