Shana Corey at Random House has bought, in a preempt,
John Gallagher's Max Meow: Cat Crusader, three books in a full-color graphic novel series starring Max, a crime-fighting feline with Cat-itude who makes bad guys flea and kids cheer with glee. Publication will begin in fall 2020; Judy Hansen at Hansen Literary negotiated the deal for world rights.
