That darn Sergio Peçanha

Extra-ordinary, extraordinary [Sergio Peçanha letter]

Wally Greenwell, Salt Lake City

Washington Post November 16 2024: A17

Sergio Peçanha's series on "what people talk about when we don't talk about politics" was one of the best things I've read in The Post all year.

The Nov. 1 package — "There's a lot to see when we set politics aside," "Part II: I'm a brown immigrant. I visited Marjorie Taylor Greene's district. Ready?," "Part III: What I learned from a deer hunter and other 'radicals' in AOC's district" — plus the Nov. 4 online piece "Can you guess whom people will vote for? Try this quiz." and the Nov. 4 letters package "Love and friendship across political divides" all featured Peçanha's beautiful illustrations.

I would love to see this become a regular column a la Charles Kuralt's weekly "On the Road" vignettes.
