That darn Spider-Man in the WaPo

Mr. Mears is apparently unaware that, like Dilbert, Spider-Man is no longer being syndicated. In fact Michael Cavna did an article on this before the switchover. I personally would have preferred to see Marvel hire a new writer/artist team for Spider-Man but apparently it's not worth Disney's time.

So, Post comics are adding "Flash Gordon" and dropping "The Amazing Spider-Man," according to the Oct. 21 Style article "Flash Gordon takes flight again on comics pages." That is a bad move.

"Spider-Man" is so well drawn and has such good plots and characters that it is a favorite of many readers.
