A whimsical dark fantasy meant for all ages. A story about a monster with a very small brain and a very large heart.

Fuzzbuquet is an all ages fantasy story about a monster with a very large heart and a very small brain. In the previous issues we met Fuzzbuquet, a lovable beast with big dreams of becoming a cheese-maker. Unfortunately for Fuzzbuquet no one would buy his fuzzy cheese. Desperate to fulfill his dreams, Fuzzbuquet decides to finance his business by setting out on a quest to slay a dragon.
In this fifth chapter, Fuzzbuquet is treated (mistreated?) to a Bed and Breakfast at Mrs. Nibbienew's. Unbeknownst to Fuzzbuquet, Soggi Biscotti is hatching a mischievous plot with Mrs. Nibbienew's son in the wee hours of the morning. And elsewhere, steeped in the stench of Bumblossom Bog, Parcy Plundergas comes face to face with his greatest foe- himself.
The story of Fuzzbuquet draws its inspiration from a wide variety of sources to include '80s/'90s Saturday morning cartoons and Arthurian legends. Additionally, it also draws inspiration from the classic films of Rankin/Bass like The Last Unicorn and The Hobbit.
Packed with slapstick gags and potty humor, Fuzzbuquet is reminiscent of the gross-out culture of the '80s and '90s like Garbage Pail Kids as well as the over-the-top heroics (and stupidity) of shows like He-Man and Thundercats.
The art of Fuzzbuquet is done using traditional materials such as pencil, ink, markers, paint and airbrush. In creating Fuzzbuquet, I wanted to try and evoke some of the techniques I saw in cartoons and comics when I was growing up.
Ultimately, it gives this comic series a distinct look and feel that sets it apart from many other current works. This is the fifth issue of the ongoing Fuzzbuquet story. With your help, I hope to continue publishing the adventures of Fuzzbuquet annually as Fuzzbuquet continues his ill fated quest.
