On the second day of the Smithsonian's CrossLines pop-up culture lab on intersectionality, artist Robin Ha stopped by the NOC Reading Lounge to talk about her new book Cook Korean, which takes Korean recipes and presents them in a comic book format.https://thenerdsofcolor.org/2016/06/24/comics-culture-and-cooking-with-robin-ha-at-crosslines/

Robin also talks about her history and influences as an artist as well as the importance of networking and social media. In fact, she reveals her book deal for Cook Korean was a result of someone finding her Banchan comics on tumblr!
Cook Korean will be released in bookstores everywhere on July 5.
