Dash Shaw, Frank Cammuso and Jay Lynch Featured Guests at SPX 2013

Frank Cammuso!  I don't have to wait until the Baltimore Comic Con to see him again! (oh wait, that's only a week later or so).  Anyway, I like Frank as a person, and I love his comics retelling Arthurian legend as middle school

Bethesda, Maryland; August  8, 2013 – Small Press Expo is pleased to announce Dash Shaw, Frank Cammuso and Jay Lynch as featured guests to SPX 2013, to be held September 14 and 15. Dash, Frank and Jay will join previously announced guests Seth, Lisa Hanawalt, Gary Panter, Frank Santoro, Gene Yang, Congressman John Lewis, Rutu Modan, Michael Kupperman, Liza Donnelly and Liniers.


One of the great experimenters with the use of story, line and color in indie comics, Dash Shaw will be at SPX to sign his latest book from Fantagraphics, New School, as well as his latest comic, 3 New Stories. Long time SPXer and creator behind the kid's series The Knights of the Lunch Table, Frank Cammuso, has collaborated with famed underground cartoonist and creator of Nard N' Pat Jay Lynch on the children's book Otto's Backwards Day. Their book is being published by children's book publisher Toon Books, which will make its first appearance in the SPX exhibitor room at this year's show.
